Founded by Mia Harvey, a cardiology registered nurse we provide mobile screenings, education, and medication support that meet people where they are—whether at a church health fair, a school gym, or a neighborhood event.

Meet Our Founder
Mia Harvey, MBA, BSN, RN, is a cardiology nurse in Houston who turned compassion into community action. On hospital floors, she witnessed families struggling with more than illness—barriers like the cost of prescriptions, transportation challenges, and demanding jobs were shaping outcomes as much as treatment plans.
Determined to change that, Mia began teaching grocery store shoppers how to read food labels, checking blood pressure at church health days, and translating discharge instructions into simple, actionable steps. When a storm closed local clinics, she organized a pop-up screening in a parking lot—and neighbors lined up for BP checks, A1c testing, and medication counseling. The message was clear: care had to be mobile, practical, and built for real life.
From Experience to Action
Those community experiences grew into Cardiac Community Care—a nurse-led effort centered on education, medication assistance, and advocacy for underserved families. Today, Mia blends clinical expertise with community empathy to bring trusted support to the Greater Houston area and beyond.
Her vision is simple: fewer preventable ER visits, more confident self-care, and healthier lives—no insurance or referral required.
